Bora Kim Announces ‘Anseong 2030 Vision’... “Completing Innovation to Usher in the Great Anseong Era”

In her policy keynote address that day, Kim defined the past six years of municipal administration as the process of ‘Innovation Design’ (7th popularly elected term) and ‘Innovation Implementation’ (8th popularly elected term), respectively.

She stated, “It is now time to wrap up the major projects we have designed and implemented so far without any setbacks and return the full benefits to citizens’ daily lives.” She designated this term as the period for ‘Completing Innovation’ for Anseong’s uninterrupted progress and proclaimed the opening of the ‘Great Anseong Era.’

The ‘Anseong 2030 Vision’ announced that day was concretized into three major visions-▲Great Anseong! ▲Confident Anseong Citizens! ▲A Prosperous Anseong Where We Live Together-along with seven core strategies and ten key pledges.

Kim highlighted the creation of a future mobility mega-special zone centered on the Hyundai Motor Group battery campus, the opening of the Anseong railway era through the completion of the JTX and Pyeongtaek-Bubal Line projects, and the establishment of the Anseong Urban Corporation to return development profits to citizens, as ten core tasks.

Kim put ‘seasoned leadership’ at the forefront as the core of this election. She emphasized, “What Anseong needs right now is not someone who learns on the job through trial and error, but a skilled leader who can expertly complete the great leap forward that has already begun.” She highlighted her differentiated competence as a three-term mayor.

Bora Kim declared, “I will take full responsibility for Anseong’s interests through a strong policy coalition where the President, the Governor, and the Mayor work as one team.” She further stressed, “The great transformation of Anseong cannot be achieved by the mayor alone. By building a robust cooperation network with the central government and Gyeonggi Province, and through a proven policy coalition lineup, we will dramatically accelerate budget acquisition and regulatory relief to ensure the successful completion of the Great Anseong Era.”
