Jin Byungyoung Registers as Preliminary Candidate for Hamyang County Governor in 6·3 Local Elections, Officially Announces Bid for Re-election

Jin Byungyoung, candidate for Hamyang County Governor, officially entered the election campaign on May 6 by registering as a preliminary candidate ahead of the 6·3 local elections.

At 9 a.m. that day, after completing his registration as a preliminary candidate for Hamyang County Governor in the 10th nationwide simultaneous local elections at the Hamyang County Election Commission, Jin expressed his determination to seek re-election, stating, "Based on the achievements of the 8th popularly elected administration, I will further expand and solidify Hamyang's future."

He said, "In a short period, I have achieved concrete results such as opening a small cinema, building a multipurpose gymnasium at the Sports Park, and establishing the Nui Center. In addition, mid- to long-term projects such as the development of a cultural welfare city, expansion of the Singwan District industrial logistics complex, and the construction of a data center are also being pursued without a hitch."

He emphasized, "Continuity in county administration is crucial for these projects to fully bear fruit," adding, "I will complete key initiatives through stable administration."

Meanwhile, as part of his full-fledged campaign for victory in the 6·3 local elections, Jin is scheduled to hold an opening ceremony for his election office at 2 p.m. on May 7 at Yongpyeongjungang-gil, Hamyang-eup, Hamyang County, Gyeongnam, where he will meet with local residents and supporters.
