Assemblyman Sungbeom Shin of the People Power Party met with preliminary candidates for the Governor of Geochang County and urged them to minimize local conflicts.

On the morning of May 6 in Yeouido, Seoul, five preliminary candidates for the Geochang County Governor position were waiting for the central party interview screening at the People Power Party Central Party Headquarters. During this time, Assemblyman Sungbeom Shin, the constituency chair, visited the waiting room and held discussions with the candidates.

At the meeting, Assemblyman Shin emphasized, "It is most important to minimize any confusion that may arise within the region during the primary process." He reiterated his request by saying, "Please pool your wisdom so that you can earn the trust of the residents by respecting one another and accepting the results graciously."

He further stated, "This nomination process should become a platform for fair competition aimed at regional development," and stressed, "I ask that all candidates unite and cooperate for the future of Geochang."

Meanwhile, the interview conducted that day was part of the People Power Party Central Party's nomination screening, and the final candidate for Geochang County Governor will be confirmed based on the results of the upcoming review.
