Goheung Mall Launches 'Now Is the Perfect Time' Seasonal Food Event in May

Goheung County in South Jeolla Province announced that its online shopping mall, 'Goheung Mall,' will operate a special event titled 'Now Is the Perfect Time, Goheung Is the Perfect Time' from May 6 to May 11 to promote the consumption of seasonal agricultural and marine products in May.

This special event has been organized to offer seasonal agricultural and marine products from Goheung, which stimulate the appetite in spring, at reasonable prices. During the event period, major products will be sold at discounts of up to 50% off the regular price.

The 'Goheung Mall' will operate a special event titled 'Now Is Perfect, Goheung Is Perfect' from May 6 to 11 to promote the consumption of seasonal agricultural and marine products. Provided by Goheung County

The featured products in the event include short-neck clams, razor clams, garlic scapes, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and cockles.

In particular, the event will focus on products that are highly versatile as homemade side dishes, camping and picnic foods, and seasonal table ingredients, aiming to reduce the burden on consumers’ shopping baskets and help expand sales channels for local farmers and fishers.

Goheung Mall plans to use this event to raise awareness among consumers about Goheung’s seasonal agricultural and marine products at their peak flavor, while leveraging the advantages of direct online distribution from the production area to enhance both freshness and price competitiveness.

A representative from Goheung Mall said, "May is the best time to enjoy Goheung’s seasonal foods such as short-neck clams, razor clams, garlic scapes, and cucumbers," adding, "We will do our best through this special event so that consumers can purchase fresh Goheung agricultural and marine products at affordable prices, and local producers can have stable sales opportunities."
