Regarding the possibility of disciplinary action against Assemblywoman Han Jia for publicly supporting independent candidate Han Donghoon in the Busan Buk-gu Gap National Assembly by-election, he said, "Whether or not her actions constitute a violation is a matter for the party's Ethics Committee to determine."

However, he pointed out, "Proportional representation members are elected based on party votes," and emphasized, "Expressing or acting on opinions contrary to the general stance of the party could distort the choices of party members and voters who supported the party."

Regarding the upcoming opening ceremony for candidate Park Minsik in the Busan Buk-gap by-election scheduled for May 10, he said, "The candidate's camp has strongly requested it, and Representative Jang Donghyuk is positively considering attending. For mayoral or gubernatorial campaign office openings, Representative Jang will attend whenever possible."

Chief Spokesperson Park also commented on the timing of the formation of the Central Election Countermeasures Committee, stating, "We expect to be able to announce it by the end of this week when the candidate nomination process is completed."
