Icheon City Grants Honorary Street Name "SK hynix-ro" and Completes Installation of Street Signs

Icheon City, Gyeonggi Province, announced that in April it granted the honorary street name "SK hynix-ro" to a section of Gyeongchung-daero and completed the installation of four street name signs.

The city awarded the honorary street name using the corporate name of SK hynix to recognize its contributions to revitalizing the local economy, job creation, and social development. The honorary street section is approximately 2 kilometers long.

This honorary street name is not a legal road name and therefore cannot be used as an official address for receiving mail or other purposes. The period for using the honorary street name is up to five years, with the possibility of extension.

An Icheon City official stated, "We expect the installation of the honorary street name signs for SK hynix-ro to enhance publicity for the company, as well as improve the image of both Icheon City and the company."
