Progress Meeting Held for Major Project Sites
Reinforced Focus on Safety Management and Process Control

Hapcheon County announced on May 6 that it held a meeting to check the progress of the disaster recovery project in the Disaster Situation Room on the third floor of the County Office's Safety Management Division.

This inspection was organized to review the progress of recovery projects at local sites damaged by the extreme heavy rainfall in July last year, and to prevent additional damage by completing key processes before the rainy season.

During the meeting, participants checked the overall status of the disaster recovery project, focusing on the completion rate of recovery works, the status of on-site safety management, and safety measures for vulnerable sections of large-scale projects before the rainy season.

In particular, for public facility disaster recovery projects, the county set targets of 80% completion by the end of May and 90% by the start of the rainy season in June, urging flawless process management to meet these goals.

Jang Jaehyuk, acting governor of Hapcheon County, stated, "The disaster recovery project is a critical initiative directly linked to the protection of residents' lives and property. We will complete all key processes without delay before the rainy season to prevent secondary damage, and we will carry out the project swiftly and thoroughly so that residents can feel secure."

Meanwhile, Hapcheon County will continue to monitor the progress of disaster recovery projects and focus its administrative resources on thorough on-site safety management and process control.
