Gyeonggi Office of Education to Strengthen Communication with Private School Corporations

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is strengthening communication with private school corporations in the province.

On May 6, the Office announced that from May 7 to May 22, it will engage in intensive communication to support the autonomous growth and stable management of school corporations within the province.

During this communication period, the Office aims to strengthen the expertise of school corporations, which are the main bodies operating private schools, by providing customized support that addresses on-site difficulties and collects opinions.

This year, in particular, communication will be carried out in various formats-individual, group, and selected types-reflecting the specific circumstances and needs of each school corporation.

Specifically, the support measures include: ▲ Individual type: customized support focused on current issues of applicant corporations; ▲ Group type: integrated support for common work by region; ▲ Selected type: intensive support for corporations identified as needing improvement in major work areas.

Last year, the Office conducted tailored and focused communication (consulting) with 59 school corporations on key issues such as executive appointments, normalization of corporations, management of basic assets, and amendments to articles of association.
