On May 6, Gwanak District in Seoul announced that it will operate the "Gwanak Art Bus" project, a performance program that brings shows directly to culturally underserved facilities, for a total of 40 times through December this year.
The "Gwanak Art Bus" has been in full operation since 2023. Over the past three years, 494 artists have participated, holding performances at 94 culturally underserved facilities. The cumulative audience has reached approximately 37,819 people. This year, the program is expanding its repertoire beyond popular arts such as trot and magic shows to include pure arts genres like Korean traditional music, classical music, and dramatic readings.
