On May 5, President Lee posted a Shorts video on the YouTube channel 'Lee Jae-myung TV,' stating, "I always felt sorry for not being able to reply to every message sent via Instagram and TikTok. This Children's Day, I am responding to those heartfelt messages."

In the video, when a child said, "I don't want to go to survival swimming," President Lee replied, "You still have to do it," and added, "Even if it's tough, learning it will be a great help someday." In response to the request, "Can you make Saturdays red days like Sundays so we don't have to go to academy classes?" he said, "Someday, it would be great if every day could be a red day, and although it's not easy to achieve right now, I will do my best."

When another request asked, "Please let us go on picnics," President Lee commented, "We should be able to go on picnics and field trips, but it seems our teachers are having a really hard time," referring to a recent incident where teachers' organizations pushed back against the reduction of field trips. He added, "We will make sure that both students and teachers can go safely and comfortably without any burden," hinting at future measures.

In response to a request to draw the president, he said, "The president's face belongs to the people," and encouraged, "Please draw me well and send me a message." Finally, when an elementary school student said they wanted to make the president their role model, President Lee replied, "I will truly become a role model," and expressed his gratitude.

President Lee concluded the video by asking, "Are you enjoying Children's Day?" and added, "If you have any concerns, feel free to send me a message or leave a comment anytime."
