Cortis to Release Second Mini Album "GREENGREEN" on May 4... Pre-orders Surpass 2.39 Million Copies

The group Cortis will release their second mini album, "GREENGREEN," at 6 PM on May 4, according to their agency Big Hit Music.

This album contains a total of six tracks, including the title song "REDRED," as well as "TNT," "ACAI," "YOUNGCREATORCREW," "Wassup," and "Blue Lips."

The agency stated, "This album pursues raw naturalness without being bound to any particular concept or genre. Once again, all members participated in the production process, jointly creating the music, videos, and choreography."

The lyrics of the included songs reflect the members' daily lives and personal concerns. "ACAI" is inspired by the acai bowl, a food the members often enjoy, while "YOUNGCREATORCREW" expresses their thoughts on the descriptors associated with their team. "Wassup" conveys the emotions that have changed since their debut, and "Blue Lips" deals with dreams and scars.

Cortis produced music videos for five out of the six tracks. The music video for "TNT" will be released on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel simultaneously with the album release.

"REDRED" became the first song by a Korean K-pop boy group to debut within the past five years to enter the Spotify Global Chart. It ranked 103rd on the "Weekly Top Songs Global" chart (April 24-30) and maintained its position in the ranking for 12 consecutive days, reaching 100th place on the "Daily Top Songs Global" chart as of May 2.

According to the distributors YG Plus and Universal Records, as of April 30, pre-orders for the album reached 2,397,188 copies. The number of Spotify pre-saves surpassed 1,033,600 as of 6 AM on the same day.

On this day, Cortis will hold the "GREENGREEN Release Party" at S-Factory in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, at 8 PM, where they will perform all the tracks live.
