Decamp, a growth partner for startups, announced on April 30 that it will hold the "May Decamp Office Hour #BusinessCollaboration (Regional Demonstration)" to connect startups with nationwide regional demonstration projects and expand public sector adoption. With the participation of regional fund-operating venture capital firms and major corporations, substantial regional collaboration outcomes are anticipated.
This program will be held at Decamp Mapo for seven days starting May 21, with about 10 regional Centers for Creative Economy and Innovation, including the Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, participating as partner organizations. Decamp has previously worked with the Korean Intellectual Property Office and the Public Procurement Service to help patent-based startups enter the public procurement market, achieving results such as introducing pulmonary function testing devices at Jeonbuk Health Center and deploying water purification robots at marine pollution sites in Tongyeong.
During this office hour, regional Centers for Creative Economy and Innovation officials will serve as mentors for startups seeking regional demonstrations, sharing insights on public demonstrations, regulatory support, and public procurement demand. In particular, this event serves as a pre-meetup for the "Decamp Startup OI #B2G" scheduled for September, and outstanding companies will have opportunities for proposal pitching and actual public sector adoption in the future.
Additionally, from May 22 to 28, the regular office hour focusing on venture investment and business collaboration with large corporations will be held at Decamp Seolleung. Ten investment firms, including BNK Venture Investment and Enlight Ventures, along with major corporations such as SK Ecoplant, LG Uplus, Google Cloud, and Kyobo Life, will participate to provide 1:1 customized mentoring and discuss collaboration plans. Startups wishing to participate can apply through the Decamp official website by May 8.
