Revenue came in at 82.9 billion won, marking a 32.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. Net loss for the quarter expanded to 39.5 billion won.

By business segment, revenue from PC online games grew 4% to approximately 27.9 billion won. In contrast, mobile game revenue dropped by 43% to 55 billion won.

Kakao Games explained that the first quarter results were influenced by a limited contribution from new releases. The company has announced upcoming launches, including the MMORPG Odin Q, the strategy adventure RPG Dungeon Arise, and the open-world zombie survival simulator God Save Birmingham.

A Kakao Games representative stated, "In the second quarter of this year, we will enhance the quality of our upcoming lineup, which spans a variety of genres and platforms, to lay the foundation for improved performance in the second half." The representative added, "In June, we will also conduct a closed test for the major online RPG ArcheAge Chronicle, as part of our efforts to strengthen validation of new titles."
