On April 30, Air Premia announced that it will enhance the customer experience by providing comprehensive flight process information through its in-flight entertainment system (IFE). With demand for long-haul travel rising during the holiday period, the ability to view the full service flow during a flight is expected to significantly improve user convenience.
Through the "My Journey" feature on its IFE, Air Premia provides passengers with a timeline of key service milestones, including estimated arrival time, remaining flight time, completion of immigration forms, in-flight meal service, and duty-free sales. This feature is credited with reducing the information gaps and uncertainties that can arise during long-haul flights.
This feature also received high satisfaction ratings in passenger surveys. The ability to check the service schedule in advance during the flight was highlighted as a key factor in improving convenience.
Entertainment content has also been enhanced. In addition to offering a variety of genres-such as movies, dramas, and variety shows-Air Premia recently added five new documentary titles. The expansion of immersive content under the theme "Knowledge and Inspiration in the Air" is designed to provide a richer experience for long-haul travelers.
Passengers can also access information about in-flight duty-free products, major promotions, and paid service menus through the IFE. With options such as alcoholic beverages and snacks available for review prior to purchase, overall convenience has been further improved.
Air Premia is strengthening its service competitiveness not just through fare competition but by focusing on enhancing overall passenger satisfaction. The airline has also improved the in-cabin environment by adjusting seat spacing on selected aircraft and replacing carpets with digitally printed versions.
An Air Premia representative stated, "We have enhanced our services so that customers planning long-haul travel during the holidays can enjoy a more comfortable and predictable flight," adding, "We will continue to improve in-flight content and information offerings going forward."
