The Yi Sun-sin Baekui Service Marathon is a flagship sports event in Asan City, drawing about 7,000 participants. At the final gathering point, the Asan Value Creation Center set up a promotional booth to introduce the founding story and signature products of "Value Creation Center The Asan," a family-run company by people with developmental disabilities.

In particular, at the tasting event for the center’s signature product, Mbt Coffee, brewed from beans roasted on-site, marathon participants and citizens flocked to the booth, resulting in all 1,000 cups of coffee being distributed much earlier than expected. On the same day, national marathoner Bongju Lee, who was holding a signing event at the venue, also tasted the coffee and showed support by taking commemorative photos with the family business representatives.

Reflecting the family-oriented nature of the event, the additive-free healthy snacks "Ttatteunttatteun Nurungji (Ttatttarung)" and "Crispy Rice Chips (Babara)," prepared as event giveaways, also received tremendous attention, with all available quantities being distributed. Jang Gijong plans to continue promoting the products to followers on social media platforms who were engaged at the event.

Boyoung Cho, Center Director of Asan Value Creation Center, stated, "Thanks to the high level of interest from citizens, we were able to distribute all the prepared coffee and souvenirs and successfully conclude the event with great energy." She added, "Building on the community’s positive response, we will continue to pursue various field-based activities together with the local community."
