Gyeonggi Education Office Holds Staff Counseling Sessions Ahead of Regular Personnel Appointments

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will conduct counseling sessions to listen to concerns and grievances ahead of its regular personnel appointments scheduled for the first half of this year.

On April 30, the Office announced that it will operate the "2026 First Half Regular Personnel Counseling" from May 6 to May 15, in order to address local government officials' personnel-related grievances and to ensure fair personnel administration.

To this end, the Office will expand its in-person counseling services beyond just the Southern and Northern office buildings, adding regional counseling centers in locations such as Goyang, Gwangmyeong, Guri-Namyangju, and Seongnam. In addition, a pre-booking system has been introduced to stagger the reservation start date over two days, preventing system overload. The application and confirmation functions have also been separated to improve user convenience.

In particular, anyone who wishes to receive counseling can easily select their preferred date and time through the online pre-booking system. As a result, the Office can better manage the number of counseling sessions during each time slot, effectively eliminating inconvenience caused by long wait times, ensuring appropriate counseling durations, and efficiently handling a large number of counseling participants.

An official from the Office stated, "We plan to continue improving the counseling environment so that any local government official can easily participate, and to maintain a fair and trusted personnel culture through demand-oriented personnel counseling."
