[Weather] Cloudy or Rain Expected... Daytime Highs Up to 22°C

On Thursday, the 30th, the central regions will see partly cloudy skies at times, while rain is expected mainly in the southern regions.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, from 3 p.m. on this day, rain is expected in southern North Chungcheong, eastern Jeolla, and the Gyeongsang region. Jeju Island is forecast to receive 5 to 10 millimeters of rain through 6 p.m. The expected precipitation is around 5 millimeters in southern North Chungcheong, about 5 millimeters in eastern North Jeolla and eastern South Jeolla, and between 5 and 10 millimeters in Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang, Daegu, and North Gyeongsang.

The air will be very dry, especially in Seoul, inland areas of North and South Chungcheong, northeastern inland North Jeolla, and inland North Gyeongsang, where dry weather advisories are in effect. Other areas will also experience dry conditions, so caution is advised to prevent fires.


Temperatures will be similar to or slightly lower than average for this time of year. The daytime high temperatures will be as follows: Seoul 22°C, Daejeon 22°C, Daegu 22°C, Jeonju 21°C, Gwangju 21°C, Busan 19°C, Chuncheon 22°C, Gangneung 20°C, and Jeju 16°C.


Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'Good' to 'Normal' levels nationwide.
