The Korea Studio Association held its inauguration ceremony on April 28 at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Seoul, officially marking its launch.

This organization is comprised of studios that produce sets and provide filming support for dramas, movies, advertisements, and music videos. It was established in August 2025 and received approval from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in February 2026.

The association plans to develop an integrated studio information platform, allowing domestic and international production companies to access information on studios by region, facility status, and reservation services.

It will also expand participation in set exhibitions and experiential display programs, enabling foreign tourists to experience drama and film production sites.

The association intends to soon submit proposals to the government for institutional improvements and expanded policy support related to filming infrastructure. Chairman Lee Hosung stated, "We will contribute to the development of Korean culture through solidarity and cooperation in the cultural content industry."

Many figures from the cultural and arts sector, including director Jang Hangjun of the film "The King and the Clown" and CEO Jang Wonsuk, attended the inauguration ceremony.
