Lotte Mart and Lotte Super announced on April 30 that, ahead of Children's Day, they visited the Children's Rehabilitation Center at Bobath Hospital in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, to host the "Traveling ToysRUs" event for 140 pediatric patients.

In collaboration with the international relief and development NGO Hope Friends at Korea Food for the Hungry International, the event included delivering ToysRUs toys to the children, as well as experiential activities such as face painting and a photo zone. A total of 20 participants attended, including Kim Beomchang, Head of HR Innovation at Lotte Mart and Super, Park Chanwook, Head of Hope Friends at Korea Food for the Hungry International, Kang Yujin, Director of Bobath Hospital, and members of the company’s junior board comprised of early-career employees.


Additionally, on May 1, in celebration of Labor Day, the company will present letters of appreciation from the CEO and 500 admission tickets to the Seoul Sky Observatory at Lotte World Tower to employees of 125 outstanding small and medium-sized partner companies. The company explained that this initiative is intended to express gratitude to the partner company employees who have grown together despite challenging business conditions, and to promote a family-friendly culture.


Kim Beomchang stated, "Building strong relationships with our partner companies and sharing hope with children are core values of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management," adding, "We will continue to expand activities in which our employees directly participate in the field, aiming to grow together with the local community."
