Accommodation and Experience Facilities to Operate as Usual... Closed on Children's Day Only

Sacheon City in South Gyeongsang Province announced on April 29 the operating schedule for each facility at the Sacheon Cable Car Natural Recreation Forest, in time for May, the Family Month, and the Children's Day holiday period.

According to the city, accommodation facilities, the Wooden Culture Experience Center, and Net Fore-an outdoor forest leisure facility-will operate as usual from May 1 to May 4. On May 5, Children's Day, these facilities will be closed. From May 6, all facilities will resume normal operations.

The forest interpretation program will not be available on May 1, 4, and 5; aside from these dates, it will operate as usual.

In preparation for increased visitor numbers during the holiday period, Sacheon City will strengthen safety inspections and environmental maintenance across all facilities. The city also urged visitors to make advance reservations and check the operating schedule in advance.

The Sacheon Cable Car Natural Recreation Forest is a forest retreat composed of cypress woods, serving as a representative healing space where visitors can experience phytoncides, natural antimicrobial substances. In particular, it features a variety of nature-friendly facilities such as the Children’s Forest Experience Center, resulting in high reservation rates and high visitor satisfaction.

A city official stated, "This is the ideal place for families to relax together in a cypress forest filled with phytoncides," and added, "We will do our utmost to provide a safe and pleasant resort environment even during the holiday period."
