Woo has previously conducted listening sessions by touring all 11 towns and townships, and through this meeting with professional groups, further expanded the scope of communication.

At the meeting, members of the youth organization proposed: ▲ budget support for youth organizations ▲ attracting quality jobs for young people ▲ expanding support for young farmers ▲ co-hosting local events ▲ improving access roads to the Dr. Wangin Historic Site.

Kim Joonchan, president of the Yeongam County Federation of Youth Associations, emphasized, "While attracting young people from outside is important, it is even more urgent to implement policies that prevent the outflow of existing youth," adding, "It is necessary to create an environment where local youth, as well as those returning to farming or starting agricultural businesses, can grow together."

In particular, examples such as the plastic mulching project for elderly farmers, where young people contribute to the community through agriculture and generate income, were shared and resonated with the participants.

Woo stated, "Youth and agriculture are the key sectors that will determine Yeongam's future," adding, "I will reflect voices from the field and translate them into practical policies."

He also added, "We will continue to expand such meetings and incorporate the opinions of women, seniors, people with disabilities, laborers, and small business owners into our policies."

Meanwhile, Woo plans to continue holding listening sessions in Yeongam's towns and townships, meeting with residents in Sinbuk-myeon, Miam-myeon, Dobo-myeon, Goonseo-myeon, and other areas.
