SiliconTwo, a global K-beauty distribution platform company, announced on April 29 that it has completed the acquisition of "88 Seoul," a Middle Eastern delivery-focused K-food brand. As a result, the company is expanding its business scope in the Middle East market from beauty to food.
Despite geopolitical uncertainties in the Middle East region, SiliconTwo is maintaining a stable supply chain. By utilizing its logistics hub in Dubai Free Zone, the company secures inventory for more than three months and is able to respond to changes in local demand.
"88 Seoul" is operated as a delivery-oriented multi-brand platform. It offers a variety of Korean cuisine menus on a single platform and enhances market accessibility based on its delivery network. In some areas, the company will also run offline stores to further build brand awareness.
A SiliconTwo representative stated, "This acquisition serves as an opportunity to expand our business scope," adding, "We will continue to ensure stable operations in the Middle Eastern market through thorough risk management and proactive investment."
