Doosan Robotics announced that on April 29, Senior Director Hwang visited the Doosan Robotics Innovation Center in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, where she met with Kim Minpyo, CEO of Doosan Robotics.

The purpose of this visit was to explore ways to integrate Nvidia's AI and robotics ecosystem with Doosan Robotics' intelligent robot solutions and industrial humanoids currently under development.

The core of the collaboration lies in connecting Doosan Robotics' dedicated robot execution software, "Agentic Robot Operating System," with Nvidia's AI and robotics simulation and training infrastructure. Both companies aim to build a robot execution platform that can be practically deployed in real industrial environments.

This operating system is software that allows AI to assess work environments, optimize paths, and enable safe and precise task execution. Doosan Robotics is reviewing several aspects, including building a robot-AI interface, developing standard robot control protocols, linking specialized task models, and applying technical safeguards for safety control. The company plans to further develop these initiatives through its partnership with Nvidia.

Doosan Robotics plans to sequentially launch intelligent robot solutions based on the Agentic Robot Operating System in partnership with Nvidia next year, and industrial humanoid products by 2028. In particular, next year, the two companies are also planning to unveil the results of their collaboration at major global exhibitions such as CES.

CEO Kim stated, "The success of physical AI depends not only on the intelligence of the AI models but also on the stability of the execution platform that ensures error-free operation on site. Today's discussions were conducted very seriously and in depth. Based on what was discussed, we will combine Doosan's hardware manufacturing capabilities with Nvidia's software ecosystem to pursue the commercialization of intelligent robot solutions and industrial humanoids."
