"Children's Smiles in Full Bloom"... Abundant Spring Events at Hapcheon Daejanggyeong Theme Park

Hapcheon County in South Gyeongsang Province will be hosting weekend events at the Daejanggyeong Theme Park in celebration of Family Month this May 2026.

The event will run for a total of 10 days, including weekends and public holidays, from May 2 to May 25. It will welcome tourists with a variety of programs that combine performances and hands-on experiences.

Major performances will include a bubble show, a magic show, a juggling balloon show, and a Transformers robot show, all of which are expected to be well received by families with children. The performances will be held twice a day at the outdoor stage, at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The experiential events are also diverse. Participatory activities such as water tattoo experiences, moss doll pot making, bead bracelet crafting, and mood lamp making will be available for children and their families to enjoy together.

In addition, the theme park will offer a variety of ongoing programs, including a 5D theater, pottery classes, VR experiences, and media art exhibitions. From mid-May, a separate tea ceremony experience room will also be in operation.

Jo Hongnam, Director of Tourism Promotion at Hapcheon County, stated, "We hope families will create precious memories together at Daejanggyeong Theme Park this May, Family Month," adding, "We expect it to be a time that enriches the heart through a wide array of experiences and attractions."
