“Enjoy the Bamboo Festival and the Joy of Giving” Damyang County Promotes Hometown Love Donations

Damyang County in Jeollanam-do will promote the Hometown Love Donation Program at the site of the 25th Damyang Bamboo Festival, which opens on May 1.

Damyang County announced on April 29 that it will operate a promotional booth for the Hometown Love Donation Program in celebration of the 25th Damyang Bamboo Festival, which will be held from May 1 to May 5 at the Damyang Sports Complex and Juknokwon Bamboo Garden.

This event has been organized to introduce the Hometown Love Donation Program to visitors in a friendly manner and to encourage support for Damyang's development through donations.

The promotional booth, which will be open during the festival, will offer special benefits to on-site donors. In addition to the basic benefits-including a full tax deduction for donations up to 100,000 won and a return gift equivalent to 30% of the donation amount-festival-exclusive special prizes will also be given as a token of appreciation to those who donate to Damyang County. Furthermore, a variety of events such as roulette games will be held, giving out Damyang's local specialties and commemorative gifts to visitors, providing an enjoyable festival experience.

A Damyang County official stated, "In May, when the greenery is at its peak, we hope that many people visiting the bamboo festival will enjoy not only the festivities but also the rewarding experience of supporting their hometown. We expect that the special benefits offered on site will serve as a small but meaningful gift for those who love Damyang."

Meanwhile, since April 6, Damyang County has been hosting an additional prize and return gift certification event for donors who contribute 100,000 won or more. Detailed information is available on the Damyang County website or official social media channels.
