[Today's New Release] Ice Cream with Healthy Fruits... Benson Launches Four New Acai Berry Menu Items

Premium ice cream brand 'Benson' announced on April 29 that it will introduce four new products featuring acai berry, targeting the upcoming summer season, available until August 31.

Acai berries are primarily cultivated in the Amazon region and are rich in antioxidants. The new products, available as limited-time seasonal items, include: ▲Acai Cassis Sorbet (5,300 won), ▲Acai Berry Sundae (6,300 won), ▲Acai Berry & Mango Smoothie (7,000 won), and ▲Acai Berry Parfait (14,000 won). The parfait is exclusively offered at the Apgujeong Tasting Lounge, while the other three items are available at all stores. At the Galleria Luxury Hall and Mapo Branch, which do not serve beverages, the smoothie will not be available.

The signature menu item, Acai Cassis Sorbet, combines acai berries with the tangy berry fruits 'cassis' and 'blackberry' to create the base. Large black cherries are added for enhanced texture, which is a distinguishing feature.

To celebrate the launch of the new products, Benson will offer a free size upgrade from single cup to double cup for customers purchasing a new single cup at all stores until the 21st of next month. A wellness-themed experiential program will also be introduced. On the 9th and 30th of next month, meditation stretching and singing bowl therapy sessions will be held at Benson Creamery Seoul, located in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Additionally, starting next month, customers who complete a Han River run with a Lululemon ambassador on alternate Saturdays will be offered an acai berry dessert.

A representative from Verascoop Creamery, which operates Benson, said, "By using carefully selected premium ingredients, we've reduced artificial sweetness and highlighted the natural flavors of the fruit," adding, "We hope customers will enjoy an even cooler summer with our acai berry ice cream."
