According to political sources, all 12 lawmakers from the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, 4 lawmakers from the Progressive Party, 2 from the Reform New Party, 1 from the Social Democratic Party, and 2 independents will attend the luncheon. Lee Junseok, leader of the Reform New Party, will be absent due to his local schedule in Ulsan, and Yong Hyein, leader of the Basic Income Party, will not attend due to a National Assembly standing committee schedule.

At the meeting, the Innovation Party plans to propose several agenda items, including: actively considering a policy transition to renewable energy as a long-term measure to stabilize oil prices amid the ongoing war situations in Russia, Iran, and elsewhere; and preparing compensation and support measures for local residents who have made sacrifices due to the introduction of a U.S. military base in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.

Previously, President Lee and the floor leaders of the non-negotiating parties met at a party leadership luncheon in January this year. This is the first time since President Lee's inauguration that all non-negotiating party lawmakers have been invited to a luncheon with the president.
