Dong-Eui University has launched an industry-academic cooperation project to revitalize the beauty industry in the Busan region.


The RISE Project Group at Dong-Eui University, led by Director Kim Sunghee, announced on the 29th that it had signed a business agreement on the 27th at the Creative Hall Beauty Living Lab with Noir Co., Ltd. (CEO Song Kangwoo) to establish a system for industry-academic cooperation.


The signing ceremony was attended by Huh Changsoon, Director of the Beauty Innovation Research Institute at Dong-Eui University, CEO Song Kangwoo, and representatives from both parties.

Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate to nurture practical talent in the beauty and cosmetics sectors and to stimulate the local industry. The main details include: ▲ discovering joint projects in products, services, and content related to industry-academic cooperation ▲ offering extracurricular programs such as seminars, mentoring, and competitions ▲ expanding educational programs such as internships and on-the-job training ▲ and promoting collaborative projects for community engagement and industrial revitalization in the region.


Through this partnership, Dong-Eui University plans to strengthen field-oriented education for students and expand programs linked to employment opportunities.


Huh Changsoon, Director of the Beauty Innovation Research Institute, emphasized, "By establishing a sustainable industry-academic cooperation system, we aim to contribute to the revitalization of the local beauty industry and to operate diverse programs that will help students develop practical skills."


Noir is known as a hair franchise company headquartered in Bujeon-dong, Busan. It operates directly managed and franchised stores, as well as its own academy in Busan. The company has become a renowned K-Beauty hotspot, attracting many foreign tourists, particularly from Greater China.
