President Lee Jae-myung will host a luncheon meeting with non-negotiation group and independent lawmakers at the Blue House on April 29.
The luncheon will be attended by a total of 21 people, including members from five non-negotiation parties-Jouk Innovation Party, Progressive Party, Reform New Party, Basic Income Party, and Social Democratic Party-as well as independent lawmakers. This is the first time President Lee has invited all members of the non-negotiation groups. From the Blue House, Chief of Staff Kang Hoon-sik, Senior Political Advisor Cho Jeong-sik, and Senior Presidential Secretary for Political Affairs Hong Ik-pyo will also participate.

They added, "Today's luncheon is meant to express solidarity and gratitude to lawmakers who have collaborated during the process of overcoming crises and ensuring stable governance, and to emphasize bipartisan cooperation in resolving livelihood issues and legislative processes."
During the luncheon, President Lee is expected to listen to the opinions of minority parties regarding key national issues and seek cooperation on livelihood measures in response to the crisis originating from the Middle East. In addition, he is expected to share the results of recent state visits to India and Vietnam.
Previously, in January, President Lee held a luncheon with party leadership at Sangchunjae in the Blue House. In March, he hosted a dinner with first-term lawmakers from the Democratic Party of Korea, and on April 7, he held a meeting and luncheon with Representative Jeong Cheong-rae of the Democratic Party of Korea, Representative Jang Dong-hyuk of the People Power Party, and other members of the bipartisan public livelihood and economic consultative body.
