"The second stage of our service is not just staying with generative artificial intelligence (AI) models, but having AI take direct action."
NHN Dooray, a subsidiary of NHN, has announced its plans to focus on developing AI agents (assistants) capable of performing work autonomously, just like humans, as it unveiled the achievements of its AI collaboration platform, "Dooray AI."

Dooray AI is currently used by more than 20 public sector organizations. In addition, private companies such as Hyundai Motor and Megastudy are increasing their use of Dooray AI, leading to a 40% growth in NHN Dooray's software-as-a-service (SaaS) revenue over the past three years. CEO Baek stated, "We are the overwhelming leader in public email SaaS collaboration tools," adding, "We have also completed integrated contracts with the Army, Navy, and Air Force."
The results in the financial sector are also notable. At the press conference, Woori Financial Group revealed its reasons for adopting Dooray AI and the outcomes achieved. Yoon Jong-pil, ICT Planning Manager at Woori Financial Group, explained, "Dooray AI integrates all functions required for collaboration, such as messenger, email, shared folders, and generative AI, into a single all-in-one application." He added, "By introducing Dooray AI, we are now able to use generative AI models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude securely within our internal network."

He demonstrated Dooray AI agents in action, showing them discussing with humans in group chat rooms and recording work activities. CEO Baek highlighted that Dooray AI has now entered its second phase, moving beyond summarization and Q&A to executing work autonomously, just like humans. He described this as "My, Project, Extension, and Built-in Agents." These personalized AI agents, tailored for individuals and companies, will be able to carry out projects using not only Dooray AI but also internal systems not directly integrated with Dooray AI.
CEO Baek stated, "There is no need to distinguish between humans and agents when collaborating. Humans will not be able to match the working speed of AI agents. In fact, humans who read and review the work performed by AI agents will become the bottleneck."
NHN Dooray plans to focus its capabilities on the development of AI agents going forward. Park Hyung-min, Director of the Dooray Business Division, commented, "Our goal is to focus on AI agents rather than generative AI, deliver better features, and enable real customer-driven AI transformation (AX). In the administrative sector, such as local governments, NHN Dooray is a latecomer, but we plan to concentrate our efforts in the local government sector and achieve significant results."
CEO Baek also mentioned the possibility of changes to the pricing structure for Dooray AI. He said, "Up until now, we have had a fixed monthly subscription model, but with the launch of AI agents, we plan to switch to a usage-based pricing system. In other words, if you use the service less, you will pay less."
