Kangsu Park, Mapo District Mayor Candidate, Appoints Lawyer Wonchun Chae as Support Committee Chairperson

Momentum for Broader Outreach with the Addition of a Conservative Commentator

Kangsu Park, the People Power Party candidate for Mayor of Mapo District, announced on the 28th that he has appointed lawyer Wonchun Chae, who is well-known as a conservative commentator, as the chairperson of his support committee.

Candidate Park stated, "With lawyer Chae, who is renowned for his integrity and sophisticated reasoning, joining our team, the blueprint for Mapo that I have envisioned will gain even greater weight."

Upon accepting the position of chairperson, lawyer Chae said, "Among the many politicians I know, candidate Park is the most creative, honest, and humble person. That is why I gladly agreed to serve as chairperson of the support committee." He added, "Just as the person who draws the blueprint is also the most capable of building a solid house, candidate Park is an expert who will complete the projects in Mapo that he has pursued over the past four years without interruption."

Candidate Park responded, "It feels as though I have gained a thousand reinforcements by welcoming lawyer Wonchun Chae, who is a leading intellectual in Korea and has always spoken with justice and reason, as the chairperson of the support committee." He continued, "I will fully incorporate the values of fairness, common sense, and principle-which I have always emphasized-into Mapo’s administration."

With lawyer Chae joining as chairperson, candidate Park’s campaign believes it will not only consolidate support among the conservative base but also broaden its appeal to centrist voters who value rational conservatism. Candidate Park plans to continue presenting tailored pledges for each region and maintain active communication with district residents.
