This festival is designed to promote the excellence of Jindo blue crabs and boost seafood consumption. It will be run as a stay-type program combining performances, hands-on experiences, and special discounts.

In particular, the county plans to increase the synergy between festivals by running a shuttle bus between Seomang Port and the Jindo Dog Theme Park, connecting with the "Jindo Dog Festival" that will be held on May 2 and 3. Visitors will also receive blue crab discount coupons to further enhance the linkage between the events.

The discount coupons will be distributed at the festival’s main information center and can be used for up to 3 kilograms per person.

During the festival, there will be interactive programs such as a blue crab auction, a blue crab ramen cooking experience, and the "Blue Crab Dance Challenge." In addition, photo zones will be set up to allow visitors to take commemorative photos with ocean views.

The county expects that this festival will help promote the consumption of local seafood and contribute to increasing the inflow of tourists.

A county official stated, "We hope this will be an opportunity to widely promote Jindo’s blue crabs, known for being the highest quality in the country," adding, "We will create an environment where both residents and tourists can safely enjoy and consume seafood."

Meanwhile, Jindo plans to expand programs that link seafood festivals with tourism resources to help revitalize the local economy.
