In response, Jeong provided specific answers, stating, "We will go beyond simple child care and create a hub that nurtures Damyang's future." He especially emphasized, "The safety of children will be our highest budget priority," and pledged to immediately allocate a supplementary budget upon the launch of the 9th popularly elected administration to conduct a comprehensive asbestos inspection at all regional children's centers and safely remove any asbestos found.

He also presented a vision to provide realistic wage support for night-time care assistant teachers, as well as to bridge educational and cultural gaps with large cities by introducing specialized programs such as healing experience programs utilizing Damyang's rich ecological resources and programs in drones and AI education.

Jeong Cheolwon stressed, "Just as it is said that it takes a village to raise a child, Damyang County must become a strong support for its children," adding, "I will make the voices from the field my top policy priority and always be a governor who communicates openly."

Meanwhile, the Damyang County Regional Children's Center Association currently operates a total of 10 centers, including those in Subuk, Damyang, and Daechi, providing close care services to approximately 270 children in the region. Jeong plans to continue efforts to improve the challenging conditions faced in the care field going forward.
