Under this agreement, the two organizations agreed to jointly host and promote an international conference for legal professionals in the Asia-Pacific region, collaboratively recruit speakers for each session, and work together to secure sponsors for the successful hosting of the conference.
The 39th LoAsia Seoul General Assembly will be held from September 14 to 16 at The Plaza Hotel and Koreana Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, under the theme of 'Global New Order - Challenges and Prospects.'
As this international conference will be held in Korea, Korean legal professionals are expected to gain integrated insights into global legal issues without constraints of time or place. In addition to acquiring opportunities to discuss the latest specialized topics in depth-including national legal systems, precedents, and practices, the cross-border legal environment, and international business trends-they will also be able to expand their legal networks in the Asia-Pacific region through exchanges with legal professionals from various countries.
Kim Jungwook, President of the Korean Bar Association, stated, "The Korean Bar Association will do its utmost to prepare for the opening ceremony and key events to ensure the successful hosting of the 2026 LoAsia Seoul General Assembly."
