Dure Together Day is a B2B consultation event designed to connect community tourism businesses under the Tourism Dure program with the travel industry, thereby expanding the distribution channels for local tourism products. The Tourism Dure project is a government initiative that supports local community groups in founding and operating tourism businesses that reflect the unique characteristics of their regions-across sectors such as accommodation, food and beverage, souvenirs, and experiential activities.

Currently, the organization is nurturing and supporting 158 local community businesses across 40 basic local governments nationwide. For this event, approximately 250 participants from 131 organizations-including community tourism businesses, travel agencies, and online travel agencies-attended and participated in over 450 business consultations.

Prior to the consultation sessions, the organization provided consulting services to community businesses to help them improve their experiential tourism products. Additionally, by conducting pre-matching based on the desired fields of the participating companies, the effectiveness of the consultations was further enhanced.

A separate exhibition space was also set up at the venue. A total of 38 local products from 28 community businesses were showcased, including Baekyeop Tea Set from Uiseong, North Gyeongsang Province; Potato Beer from Sokcho, Gangwon Province; and Walnut Makgeolli from Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province.

Starting in May through November, the organization plans to operate the "Dure Visitor Support Program," which provides experiential fee subsidies of up to 30,000 won per person for travel products jointly developed by community businesses and travel agencies.

Jung Sunhee, Director of Regional Development at the Korea Tourism Organization, stated, "Recently, there has been a rapid increase in demand for K-local experiences among foreigners, as seen by the rise in inbound visitors through regional airports and longer stays in local areas. In the second half of the year, we will further expand support for youth-led community businesses so that the Tourism Dure program can create even greater synergy with the travel industry."
