Coupang Eats Partners with 159 Repair Centers Nationwide to Support Delivery Partner Maintenance and Rest

Supporting a Safe Driving Environment

On April 28, Coupang Eats Service announced that it will launch a motorcycle maintenance partnership program in collaboration with 159 repair centers nationwide to enhance the safe driving of delivery partners. The program includes practical support such as maintenance discounts and access to rest areas.


This program was designed to help prevent breakdown accidents of delivery motorcycles and to establish a culture of regular inspection and maintenance in the field. Coupang Eats Service is working with the Korea Motorcycle Repair Association to form partnerships with 159 repair centers nationwide, building an infrastructure that allows delivery partners to access maintenance services anywhere in the country.

Partner repair centers are operated nationwide, covering key regions including the Seoul metropolitan area (Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon), Chungcheong region (Daejeon, Chungnam, Chungbuk), Honam region (Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, Jeonju), Yeongnam region (Busan, Daegu, Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam), as well as Gangwon and Jeju. Through this, in addition to the ‘on-site free safety inspection’ conducted in the first and second half of each year, delivery partners can visit nearby repair centers whenever needed for regular inspections and maintenance.


At partner repair centers, all Coupang Eats delivery partners receive a 10% discount on maintenance for 10 major consumable items, including engine and transmission oil, brake pads, and engine air cleaner filters. Delivery partners who meet certain activity requirements are eligible for additional seasonal discounts of 30% to 40% on key maintenance items. Items such as tires, windshields, fog lights, and black boxes, which have high seasonal replacement demand, are included in the seasonal discounts.


Rest areas are also available for delivery partners. At around 140 partner repair centers nationwide, delivery partners can freely use rest spaces during business hours, with sofas, tables, and beverages provided. This support is intended to ensure safe rest for delivery partners during both hot and cold seasons. The locations of partner repair centers can be checked through the Coupang Eats Delivery Partner App.


A Coupang Eats Service representative said, “This nationwide maintenance center partnership program was designed to consider both the safety of delivery partners and the reduction of practical costs,” adding, “We will continue to expand safety support that can be directly felt in the field.”
