Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam will operate marine sports experience programs and a children's human rights campaign at the Jinhae and Masan Marine Sports Centers to celebrate Children's Day in May.
This event has been organized to offer citizens a variety of hands-on experiences and to promote a culture of respecting children's human rights in celebration of Family Month.
The event will feature marine sports activities, interactive events for children, and a yacht experience in connection with Dotseom Island. There will also be an instant photo event and a children's human rights campaign held concurrently.
During the event period, the corporation plans to ensure safety by thoroughly conducting equipment inspections in advance, monitoring weather conditions, and providing safety education for participants. A rescue boat and life-saving equipment will also be on standby at all times to enhance safety management.
Lee Kyungyun, acting president of the corporation, stated, "This program is designed not only as an enjoyable experience but also to naturally encourage children to think about the meaning of human rights," adding, "We will continue to make efforts so that public facilities can serve as spaces for everyday learning through various initiatives."
Detailed information about the programs can be found on the Changwon Facilities Corporation website.
