Gimcheon City in North Gyeongsang Province announced that, in response to recent global logistics instability and changing external conditions, it will hold a special exhibition for agricultural specialty products throughout May on the ‘Gimcheon Farm & Market’ online shopping mall. The initiative aims to alleviate the management burden on local farms and boost domestic consumption.
The special exhibition will run from Friday, May 1, 2026, through Sunday, May 31, 2026. It is designed to promote the consumption of outstanding local agricultural products and expand sales channels, ultimately supporting income stability for farmers and revitalizing the local economy.
First, a dedicated page titled the ‘Safe Food Coupon Event in Response to International Situation Changes’ will be operated, where consumers can directly select and receive the discount benefits they prefer through the ‘Pick Your Coupon’ section.
Coupons will offer discounts based on the total payment amount, excluding delivery fees, providing KRW 1,000 off for purchases over KRW 5,000, KRW 3,000 off for over KRW 10,000, KRW 5,000 off for over KRW 20,000, and KRW 10,000 off for over KRW 30,000. The focus is on reducing the financial burden on consumers and providing practical purchasing support.

This initiative is expected to enable consumers to purchase high-quality agricultural specialty products at more reasonable prices, while helping farmers secure stable sales opportunities.
Park Gapsun, Director of the Agricultural Food Distribution Division, stated, “Through this special exhibition, we plan to proactively respond to changing external conditions, such as rising international oil and raw material prices, and continue to implement mutually beneficial support policies to stimulate local agricultural product consumption and expand sales channels for farmers.”
The special exhibition at ‘Gimcheon Farm & Market’ is expected to contribute to regional economic stability.
