Kyungpook National University (President: Huh Youngwoo) announced on April 28 that it will introduce the public MyData service provided by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This introduction aims to reduce the paperwork required for document submission, thereby enhancing student convenience and administrative efficiency.
The public MyData service is a system that provides necessary information through inter-administrative agency system linkage, based on the data subject’s request for provision.
Until now, students had to obtain and submit various documents themselves to verify their eligibility when applying for scholarships, taking a leave of absence, or making changes to their academic status.
With the introduction of the public MyData service, students will be able to receive the required data electronically from the relevant institutions upon requesting the provision of their own administrative information, making it possible to process work without submitting separate documents.
Starting with the “Graduate Full-time Student Support Service,” Kyungpook National University plans to expand the application of the system to various academic and administrative areas in the future.
Kim Donggyun, Director of the Information Office at Kyungpook National University, stated, “The public MyData service is a tangible administrative innovation that both students and staff can truly experience,” adding, “We will continue to build a smart campus befitting a research-oriented university based on digital transformation and artificial intelligence.”
