Gumi Office of Education Presents Comprehensive 2027 University Admission Success Strategies

The Gumi Office of Education in North Gyeongsang Province held the "2026 EBS-Gumi Office of Education University Admission Briefing Session" for high school parents in the district at the Saemaul Theme Park Global Hall Multipurpose Room on April 25.

This briefing session was organized to provide parents with accurate college entrance information amidst the rapidly changing university admissions environment and to help them establish customized learning strategies for their children according to each grade level. In particular, leading instructors from each subject area of EBSi visited Gumi in person to deliver dynamic, on-site lectures.

The session consisted of two high-density lecture segments.

During the first segment, Lee Gukhui, the leading mathematics instructor at EBS, gave a lecture on "Mathematics Study Methods," sharing strategies for preparing for both the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) and school exams simultaneously, as well as practical know-how for tackling high-difficulty questions.

In the following second segment, Kim Jinseok, the leading EBS admissions and interview instructor, presented "Understanding University Admissions and Success Strategies," providing a detailed guide to the 2027 college admissions support strategies, grade-specific admissions roadmaps, and winning strategies tailored to the evolving admissions system.

A parent who attended the session said, "I feel that I received valuable information through this briefing session."

The Gumi Office of Education plans to upload a recording of the session to the official EBSi website and YouTube channel after the event for parents and students who were unable to attend in person. Through this, it is expected that more education stakeholders will be able to share and benefit from high-quality college admissions information.

Min Byungdo, Superintendent of Education, said, "I hope this briefing session serves as a clear guideline for parents and students who are concerned about preparing for university admissions," adding, "Going forward, the Gumi Office of Education will continue to provide reliable admissions information quickly and do our utmost to offer practical support for local students in planning their academic futures."
