Ansan City Offers 60% Discount on Socar and 10% on Elecle for Three Days During International Street Arts Festival

Ansan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on April 28 that it will offer special discount benefits in collaboration with mobility platform Socar Co., Ltd. to enhance transportation convenience for citizens and tourists attending the 22nd Ansan Street Arts Festival.

This discount is part of the “Business Agreement for Community Contribution and Mutual Growth” signed on March 26. The offer will be available from May 1 to May 3. During the festival, Socar car rentals will be discounted by up to 60%, and Elecle electric bicycle rental fees will be reduced by 10%.

The benefits apply equally to Ansan citizens and visitors from other regions. Approximately 150 cars at over 50 Socar Zones throughout Ansan, along with around 2,000 Elecle electric bicycles, will be available, significantly improving access to the festival venue and overall transportation convenience.

To use the discounts, users can download the “Ansan Street Arts Festival Discount Coupon” through the Socar and Elecle applications and apply it when making a reservation.

The city expects this discount policy not only to reduce transportation costs but also to expand the use of shared mobility, alleviate traffic congestion, and promote eco-friendly transportation culture.

Additionally, starting with this festival, Ansan plans to expand the discount service to other major events such as the Ansan Summer Festa, Kim Hongdo Festival, Daebu Grape Festival, and the Winter Land of Lights Festival.

Lee Sunhee, Director of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, stated, “We have arranged these benefits so that citizens and tourists can enjoy the festival more conveniently,” adding, “We will continue to expand experiential services in collaboration with private platforms going forward.”

Meanwhile, the 22nd Ansan Street Arts Festival will be held for three days from May 1 to May 3 at Ansan Culture Plaza, featuring a variety of domestic and international street art performances as well as citizen participation programs, operating as an urban-style art festival.
