Gmarket to Launch Woongjin Foods' New Products First... Fast Delivery Collaboration

Signing of Joint Business Partnership Agreement

Gmarket announced on April 28 that it has signed a Joint Business Partnership (JBP) agreement with Woongjin Foods to strengthen its competitiveness in the beverage category.


Under this agreement, Gmarket will support the sales promotion of key Woongjin Foods products. The company plans to expand traffic and enhance customer engagement by carrying out pre-launch sales of new products, exclusive discount promotions, and advertising and marketing initiatives.

The two companies will also pursue joint marketing efforts. On April 24, Gmarket introduced new Woongjin Foods products such as "Achim Haetsal Matcha" and "Teazle Matcha Lemon Sparkling" via its live broadcast as part of the partnership-based "Super Brand Day" promotion. In addition, within the second quarter of this year, Gmarket plans to sell Woongjin Foods’ core products, including carbonated water and teas, through its guaranteed delivery service, "Star Delivery."


Woongjin Foods will utilize Gmarket as its main sales channel, including pre-launches of new products. Next month, "Nae Sarang Yuja C Sparkling" will be released first on Gmarket, and new products such as "Nature is Pink Guava Juice & Sparkling" and "Teazle Pink Guava Oolong Tea" will also be introduced.


Lee Mingyu, Head of Sales at Gmarket, stated, "This agreement goes beyond a simple distribution relationship and focuses on achieving strategic mutual growth for both companies," adding, "Starting with our collaboration with Woongjin Foods, we will continue to expand partnerships based on mutual contribution."
