Webtoon "Gwang-An" Short Drama in Production... Sung Jun and Chuu to Star

KIDARI STUDIO announced on April 28 that it is producing the webtoon "Gwang-An" as an original title for Lezhin Snack. All filming was completed on April 16, and the project has entered post-production. Lezhin Snack is a global short drama platform.

The original work depicts a palace romance between Crown Prince Lee Hyun-who is exiled to the West Palace after losing a power struggle-and Eunwoo, an assassin who infiltrates the palace disguised as a court lady to assassinate him. Since 2022, it has ranked No. 1 in the romance genre on Lezhin US for three consecutive years. In Korea, it also achieved the No. 1 spot in the romance genre on Lezhin Comics for two consecutive years.

Lee Hyun is played by Sung Jun, while Eunwoo is portrayed by Chuu. The roles of bodyguard Namhyul and the Royal Secretary are taken on by rapper Moon Jihoon and Kim Eungsoo, respectively.

The project is directed by Cho Bareun. After post-production, it will be exclusively released through Lezhin Snack.
