'Piggy Bank' Introduced as a Special Item for Children

Starbucks Korea announced on April 28 that it will introduce a range of gift products that allow people to express their feelings to loved ones ahead of the Appreciation Month in May. The newly launched gift items include food, mugs, stainless steel tumblers, and coffee sets.

First, Starbucks is launching the "Starbucks Cookie Selection," which features signature cookies in three flavors: matcha, chocolate, and cheese, packaged in a dedicated tin case. The "Cookie Basket" will also be released in two varieties (strawberry jam and chocolate chip). In addition, Starbucks is offering its popular Dolce Finger Chocolate in a transparent bottle as a limited-edition Appreciation Month product, called the "Dolce Finger Chocolate Bottle Set." Other existing packaged food items, such as two types of rice cake pies (peanut chocolate and kadaif) and two kinds of cookie tin sets (nutty and chocolate), will also include a "Thank You" hangtag during this period.

At the same time, Starbucks is introducing goods such as the "SS Signature Popo Tumbler 296ml," which features a round handle on the top for easy carrying, and the "Dear You Gradation Glass Set 384ml (2P)," ideal for daily use. For coffee gifts, the "Black Siren Glass & Via Ice Set," which combines Starbucks' premium stick coffee "VIA" with a glass, and the "VIA Coffee & Cookie Set," pairing coffee with nutty cookies, will be available both in stores and online.

On the online store, customers can purchase the "Origami & Siren Mug Set," as well as VIA Ice Coffee, VIA Decaf House Blend, and VIA Colombia in large-sized packs.

The "Piggy Bank," collaborative merchandise with "Toy Story" that aims to capture children's hearts, is also being introduced. Inspired by the character "Hamm" from "Toy Story," the Piggy Bank set will be available starting May 1 for 18,900 won, including an event beverage. Additionally, from April 28 through May 27, stores nationwide will offer the "Buzz Cake" and "Matcha Doongdoong Berry" at discounted prices.

On the Starbucks app's online store, customers who purchase gifts by May 17 will be eligible for several events: a 20,000 won discount coupon applicable to purchases of 100,000 won or more, a reusable bag exclusively for Appreciation Month gifts, a heart-shaped plate with the purchase of a whole cake, and packaging services.

Meanwhile, from May 15 to May 26, Starbucks will hold "Summer Buddy Week" on the online store, offering benefits and events, including new products such as large-capacity tumblers, ahead of the full swing of summer.
