The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business officially welcomed the Korea Foodservice Central Association as a regular member on the 27th.
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced on the 28th that it held a regular member induction ceremony for the Korea Foodservice Central Association in its main conference room on that day.
Following last year's achievement of surpassing one million members, the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business is now moving toward representing 1.5 million members across 91 organizations.
The induction ceremony was attended by Song Chiyoung, President of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, Kim Wooseok, President of the Korea Foodservice Central Association, and other officials from industry associations. During the event, participants discussed ways to further strengthen the representativeness and organizational foundation of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business and to enhance its policy responsiveness, taking the participation of the Korea Foodservice Central Association-the leading body of the foodservice industry-as an opportunity.

The foodservice industry is a core sector that accounts for the largest proportion among small business fields, and the Federation’s practical influence is expected to be significantly strengthened in terms of policy proposals and demands for institutional improvement for small businesses.
Song Chiyoung, President of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, stated, "The foodservice industry is at the heart of neighborhood economies and at the frontline of daily economic life. This induction goes beyond simple membership expansion-it signifies the completion of small business representation," adding, "From now on, the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business and the Korea Foodservice Central Association will deliver on-site demands with a unified voice and will further strengthen the weight and influence of policy responses."
