Weverse is a fandom platform operated by Weverse Company, which is part of the HYBE platform business division. It allows artists and fans to communicate directly and enjoy exclusive media content and live broadcasts.

More than 180 global artists, including BTS, BLACKPINK, Dua Lipa, and Yoasobi, are connecting with over 12 million monthly active users worldwide through the platform.

Under this partnership, Korean Air Skypass members can use their mileage to purchase two types of Weverse digital currency "Jelly" vouchers. A voucher for 9 Jellies requires 270 miles, and a voucher for 15 Jellies requires 450 miles. Jellies can be used for various purposes, such as digital membership subscriptions and Weverse DM subscriptions.

Korean Air explained that this partnership was pursued to support a new digital lifestyle based on fandom culture, and to make it easier for customers to use their mileage.

A Korean Air official stated, "We are continuously seeking ways for customers to conveniently use their mileage for everyday purposes beyond just airline tickets," adding, "This initiative aims to provide customers with a trendy and convenient brand experience, and to expand the usage of mileage globally."
