[Weather] Rain in Parts of Central Regions... Heat Subsides

On Tuesday, April 28, rain is expected to fall mainly in the central regions. Temperatures will be similar to or slightly lower than the seasonal averages.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, between early morning and morning, light raindrops of less than 0.1 mm may fall in the southern coastal area of Gangwon, Jeolla region, northern inland and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk, and Jeju Island. The entire nation will be mostly cloudy, and visibility will be reduced and roads will be slippery in areas where it rains, so caution is advised for traffic safety.

The morning low temperatures are expected to range from 9 to 14 degrees Celsius, while the daytime highs will be between 13 and 23 degrees Celsius.


The forecasted daytime high temperatures for major cities are as follows: ▲Seoul 17°C ▲Incheon 16°C ▲Chuncheon 15°C ▲Gangneung 15°C ▲Daejeon 19°C ▲Daegu 22°C ▲Jeonju 18°C ▲Gwangju 18°C ▲Busan 22°C ▲Jeju 16°C.


In most regions nationwide, strong winds are expected, with gusts reaching around 55 km/h (and up to 70 km/h in mountainous areas). Fine dust levels are expected to range from 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions.
