It is an advanced industrial cluster equipped with top-tier domestic research infrastructure, including the Korea Nanotechnology Research Society, the Gyeonggi Bio Center, and the Institute of Convergence Technology.
Currently, over 200 companies, as well as major public institutions such as the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency and the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, are based here, providing a stable and systematic business environment.
With universities such as Kyonggi University, Sungkyunkwan University, and Ajou University located nearby, the area boasts excellent conditions for securing top talent and fostering industry-academia cooperation.
Eligible applicants include companies registered as venture businesses, as well as SMEs in knowledge-based industries, knowledge industries, and information and communications technology sectors.
The Gyeonggi R&DB Center and the Gwanggyo Business Center are situated near the Shinbundang Line and Gwanggyo’s central business district, offering excellent transportation access. Both centers are equipped with a range of business support facilities, including office and laboratory spaces, dedicated meeting rooms, and large training rooms for resident companies.
It takes just 30 minutes to reach Gangnam, Seoul, and the centers also offer excellent accessibility to Incheon and Gimpo airports, as well as Pyeongtaek Port, providing a favorable environment for domestic and international business expansion.
Available spaces range from 65㎡ to 282㎡. The rental fee is set at 8,882 won per 1㎡ at the Gyeonggi R&DB Center, and 9,835 won per 1㎡ at the Gwanggyo Business Center. Lease agreements are made for two years and can be renewed after a review process.
The application process proceeds in the following order: submission of the application form, first and second screening, contract signing, and move-in. Companies certified as Gyeonggi-do Promising SMEs, Job-Creating Enterprises, Family-Friendly Enterprises, or Good Enterprises can receive additional points during the review.
Lee Soyeon, Head of the Technovalley Innovation Division, stated, "Gwanggyo Technovalley has established itself as a key hub for advanced industries where academia, research, and industry are organically connected.
