The training covered key topics essential for supervisory public officials, including safety and quality management for large-scale industrial water pipeline installation projects related to Yongin's major semiconductor policy, risk and safety management techniques for excavation slopes to enhance supervisors' competencies, and the preparation of construction safety and quality management plans. Lectures were delivered by field experts, including certified engineers and professional instructors, with a focus on practical, hands-on guidance.
Through this workshop, the city intensively reviewed risk factors and preventive measures for slope collapse that may occur during excavation work, promoted the dissemination of construction disaster prevention strategies, and strengthened administrative capabilities to establish an on-site supervision system centered on safety and quality management.
A Yongin City official stated, "We organized this workshop to prevent poor construction practices and safety accidents at the site and to create a construction environment free of major accidents. We will continue to focus on ongoing education and competency development to further enhance the professionalism of our construction supervisors."
