[Breaking] New York Stock Market Closes Mixed Amid US-Iran Negotiation Deadlock

As ceasefire negotiations between the United States and Iran remain at an impasse, the three major U.S. stock indexes ended mixed on April 27 (local time).


On the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) that day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 0.13% from the previous trading session. The S&P 500 index, which is focused on large-cap stocks, ended up 0.12%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq index finished 0.20% higher.
